There are numerous leisure activities for your enjoyment, such as fishing, scuba diving, cycling, hiking, nature walks, and boating are just a few. In addition, living on St. Croix provides an opportunity for island hopping to neighboring places such as St. Thomas, St. John, Puerto Rico, the British Virgin Islands and the Lesser Antilles.

Life here is very casual (jeans, t-shirt, short pants, sandals, etc.).  Residents of St. Croix welcome visitors and newcomers by making them feel right at home. Due to our diversified culture in the islands we like to celebrate our traditions. Throughout the year, St. Croix is host to many cultural events such as the Crucian Christmas Festival, St. Patrick’s Day, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico Friendship Days to name a few.  In addition to our celebrative customs, on St. Croix we are truly a “melting pot” community. St. Croix boasts quite a diversified culture.  Here you will find a true multi-cultural mix of ethnicities and nationalities from all over the world. 

Although English is the predominant language of the island, you will also encounter a multitude of residents conversing in Spanish, French and Dutch languages – just to name a few!
